A woman in her 30s was bashed before being sexually assaulted at a rave on a West Australian beach.
A ‘Doof Doof’ event on the Sand Dunes in Cable Beach is now being investigated by police after a woman was struck several times by an unknown man in the early hours of Sunday morning.
She was knocked to the ground before the man sexually assaulted her. The man fled the rave on foot after assaulting the woman.

He is being described as being dark skinned with a slim build and roughly 177cm tall.
The woman was taken to Broome Hospital where she is currently receiving treatment for serious head injuries.
There were up to 200 people in attendance at the beach party, with WA Police urging anyone in attendance to come forward if they have any information about the assailant.
