A dog walker has been caught on camera dragging a pet along by its lead then kicking and stamping on the defenceless animal in a London park.

Sophie Melanie Ball filmed the woman’s vicious attack while she was with her son in Rockingham Recreation Ground in Uxbridge.

The shocking footage shows the woman standing next to two dogs and yanking on their leads as they appear to pull away from her.

When they refuse to come towards her she starts kicking one of them and then stamps on its head till it falls to the ground

When they resist she starts to kick one of them before stamping on its head until it falls down to the ground.

She then carries on stamping on its head before dragging both of the dogs off as she continues on her walk.

Ms Ball posted the video to Facebook and said: ‘A woman kicking the dogs and kicking its head into the ground, stomping on it and also yanking them and dragging them.

‘As you can see the dogs did absolutely nothing wrong to give her any type of reason to do this.

‘She did this several times before I decided to start videoing.

‘I called the police immediately but they didn’t rush and she ended up leaving.

Ms Ball didn’t recognise what breed of dog the woman was walking but said they were both white with brown faces.

She said the woman who launched the attack was blonde, medium height and was wearing white leggings with patterns on them and a dark camouflage jacket.

Ms Ball implores anyone who may recognise the woman or her dogs to hand her in to police.

She said: ‘If you happen to know who she is or where she lives or if you happened to see any of the abuse she did towards the dogs please contact the police to help with the description and to help catch her’.

The police arrived after the woman had left and weren’t able to find her during their subsequent search.

Ms Ball reported the incident to the RSPCA.

A spokesperson said: ‘We are concerned by the content of this video and urge anyone who recognises the person in the video or who saw what happened to the dogs to contact us, in confidence, via the RSPCA inspectorate appeal line on 0300 123 8018, quoting incident 697/01/04/2019’.
