This is the hilarious moment a woman attempts to hoover up a spider after it crawled its way up to her ceiling.   

Lorraine Walsh was cleaning her kitchen at home in Tralee, county Kerry, Republic of Ireland, when she spotted the terrifying creature.

Her friend Eve Savage, who was helping her, decided to film the moment that Ms Walsh attempted to get rid of the creepy crawly.

Footage shows Ms Walsh screaming as she attempts to hoover the spider.

Ms Savage is heard egging on her friend as Ms Walsh points it at the spider, screaming in fear.

But Ms Savage, who is also scared of the creatures, refused to help.

Eventually Ms Walsh manages to hoover it up.

Speaking to the Irish Independent , Ms Savage said: 'Me and Lorraine are best friends and were doing a bit of cleaning on Saturday afternoon'

'So I had to get Hetty The Hoover. I have no fear of spiders and I refused to do it! She turned on the Hoover full blast and she stood there for at least 5 minutes before I started filming'

Speaking to the Irish Independent , Ms Savage said: ‘Me and Lorraine are best friends and were doing a bit of cleaning on Saturday afternoon’

Speaking to the Irish Independent, Ms Savage said: ‘Me and Lorraine are best friends and were doing a bit of cleaning on Saturday afternoon. Lorraine wouldn’t walk out of kitchen as the spider was over the door.

‘So I had to get Hetty The Hoover. I have no fear of spiders and I refused to do it! She turned on the Hoover full blast and she stood there for at least 5 minutes before I started filming’.

‘We have cried laughing watching it back’.
