Woman shares ‘genius’ hack to train yourself to wake up early by scrolling on your CELLPHONE

A woman has gone viral after she revealed an ‘easy’ and ‘realistic’ way that you can train yourself to wake up early – simply by scrolling on your cellphone.

Dani Schenone, a marketing manager and yoga instructor from California, recently posted a video on TikTok detailing a ‘hack’ that she came up with that made it easier for herself to get up in the wee hours of the morning.

Her method, which she insisted has ‘changed her life,’ left many people on the web in awe, with one viewer branding it as ‘genius’ and another calling it the ‘best advice they’ve ever heard.’

According to Dani, she used to ‘suck at getting up early.’ But she started setting her alarm for one hour before she was supposed to start her day – and it changed everything.

She used that time to look at her phone, which made it so much easier for her to get up.

‘You suck at getting up early, but you’re not gonna suck anymore. You wanna know why? Because you have me,’ she began in her TikTok, which has been viewed more than 8.5 million times.

‘I too used to suck at getting up early, but here’s what you’re gonna do. The second your alarm wakes you up, I want you to get on your phone.

‘I know people say getting on your phone first thing in the morning is the worst thing you can do, but we know that you’re doing it, so why not use it to your advantage?

‘Get on your phone, do whatever you like to do on your phone for an entire hour, and then get ready for work or get ready for your day.’

The California-native explained that doing this will help you ‘build the habit’ of getting up early because you’ll get to do something you enjoy – rather than having to rush up immediately and start preparing yourself for work.

‘The brain is a rebellious little s**t and you need to treat it like a child, so how can you get a child to do something? Positive reinforcement,’ she continued.

‘What do we all like to do? Be on our phones – so use that to your advantage.’

Dani added that once waking up early begins to feel ‘more manageable,’ you can start using that time to do more productive things instead.

‘Then you can start to introduce the things you want to do in the morning, like taking a yoga class, going to the gym or on a walk, or reading a book,’ she concluded.

In a follow-up video, the marketing manager explained that it took her only two weeks of sitting on her phone in the morning to get used to waking up early.

She added that she doesn’t lose out on sleep due to her hour of screen time because she started going to bed earlier.

‘As soon as I woke up earlier, I started going to sleep earlier because I was so, so exhausted. Waking up early became very easy,’ she explained.

‘This hack enabled me to now wake up at 5:30, go to a yoga class at 6, and after that yoga class, start my day in a better mind frame and a better mood with a better attitude.’

Many people took to the comment section to gush over Dani’s suggestion, while others revealed that they used her advice and it worked for them.

‘This is 1000 per cent accurate. I’ve been waking up early and staring at TikTok, few months in I’m now going to the gym at 6am,’ wrote one person.

‘It worked. THATS ALL IT TOOK?’ another stunned user said.

Someone else added: ‘This is so smart. Because once I’m scrolling I am full alert. Genius.’

‘This is actually the most realistic advice,’ read a fourth comment.

A fifth said, ‘Oh my God thank you. This is how I wake myself up and everyone says it’s a bad habit but it’s the only way I can get myself up so I do it.’
