Woman slams boyfriend who threatened to break up with her if she didn’t delete SELFIE from Instagram

A woman revealed her ex-boyfriend broke up with her because she didn’t delete a selfie she had posted to her Instagram Stories – after he set a timer and told her she had five-minutes to take it down.

The woman, named Htee, who is believed to be based in the US, explained in a recent TikTok video that her ex dumped her after she refused to delete a snap she had shared of herself online.

The picture in question showed her staring at the camera giving a kissy face while wearing a dress, although the straps were covered by her hair so it appeared that she was naked.

After she posted it, she received a DM from her boyfriend, who demanded she remove it immediately.

She opened up about the ordeal on TikTok and it has since gone viral – gaining more than 600,000 views and leaving many people on the internet disgusted with his ‘entitled’ behavior. 

‘People are saying Euphoria is dramatic but I had to deal with this,’ she wrote in the clip, which showed a screenshot of the messages she received from her ex after she posted the selfie online.

In them, he told her that if he doesn’t see the picture deleted within the next five minutes, their relationship would be over.

He then sent her a photo of the timer counting down the minutes, until her time eventually ran out.

After she failed to delete the snap, the unnamed man appeared to follow through with his threat, telling her that he wanted to breakup so she wouldn’t ‘burden’ him anymore

‘Times up,’ he wrote. ‘You have a good life. You don’t have to be a burden with me anymore you can do whatever you want since it was so hard to just place a heart on it.’

Many people took to the comment section to share their thoughts on her ‘dramatic’ ex-boyfriend, with some calling him embarrassing, and others accusing him of being ‘insecure.’

‘Bro, what? Why are guys so entitled?’ asked one user.

Another added: ‘Why does he think he’s above you please?’

‘Why do men try to date beautiful women, then get mad when they post pictures?’ said someone else. ‘Insanity.’

A fourth agreed, ‘Man is so insecure.’

‘That’s so embarrassing for him,’ read a fifth comment, while a sixth said, ‘Who does he think he is?’

She also posted screenshots of a different conversation with an ex, although it’s unclear if the messages were from the same guy, where the man admitted that he had cheated on her

‘He only told me the “truth” because he was on shrooms and thought he was going to [die] and was hallucinating seeing God,’ she explained in the comment section

She also explained that this occurred over a year ago and that she is now ‘healed and happier than ever’

In another video, the TikToker claimed that the ex made a fake account just so he could see what she was saying about their relationship.

‘When you post ex content and he makes another account just to follow you to show that he sees,’ she wrote.

‘I’ve blocked, like, three different accounts already, boy leave me alone.’ 

She also posted screenshots of a different conversation with an ex, although it’s unclear if the messages were from the same guy.

In them, he admitted that he had cheated on her. 

‘I f**ked someone else babe [and] I ain’t wanna hide that from you [for real] baby,’ one of the texts said. 

‘He only told me the “truth” because he was on shrooms and thought he was going to [die] and was hallucinating seeing God,’ she explained in the comment section.

‘He’s not that good of a person to tell me the truth willingly.’

She also explained that this occurred over a year ago and that she is now ‘healed and happier than ever.’

‘It always gets better for those in the same shoes or in the healing process,’ she added.
