A woman who suffered years of extreme pain and experienced depression due to her size 44GG breasts revealed she underwent an operation to have more than 10lb of fat removed, reducing her to a C-cup.
Christina Schembri, 25, from Melbourne, was living in pain every day due to her extremely large chest, leaving her unable to perform simple tasks such as cleaning her house.
Due to the intense weight of her chest, the carer, who has since gone viral on TikTok, also suffered from severe back problems, which resulted in her needing a scoliosis X-ray.

Christina now, after an £8,000 breast reduction said it’s ‘the best thing she’s ever done’ and now has 38C breasts – which has allowed her to exercise and perform simple tasks she was unable to do prior to the surgery
She couldn’t perform simple tasks around the house such as mopping and vacuuming and says that ‘women with smaller breasts don’t understand why’ she had a reduction.
The carer’s breasts even affected her work, leaving her unable to work long hours and had an impact on her self-image.
Christina says she felt ‘unattractive’ and struggled to find clothes to wear.
Despite constant comments from men about the size of her breasts, she said she felt her ‘true self’ was hiding underneath her 44GG chest.
Eventually, Christina decided ‘enough is enough’ and underwent reduction surgery in June 2021, with doctors reducing her cup size to 38C.
She said: ‘My big breasts made me depressed. Women who have smaller breasts don’t understand why, but you’ll never know until you have the size I did, how they get in the way of everything.

‘I couldn’t do simple chores like vacuuming or mopping, as my back would start to ache, and I had to sit down and stretch my back.
‘I could only work short hours due to the pain and needed to see an osteopath every few weeks.
‘They made me feel bigger than I was and felt very unattractive, and constantly drained physically and emotionally. I feel like my breasts were hiding my true self underneath it all.’
As well as dealing with excruciating pain on a daily basis, Christina had to deal with constant comments from men, which would leave her feeling frustrated.
She claims that she would often suffer from friction sweat cysts from where her bra would rub on her skin.
The carer said: ‘When I see men’s comments I get frustrated, as they have no idea and will never know what it’s like to carry weight on your chest 24/7.

‘Some men have messaged me [since the reduction] and said I shouldn’t have had the surgery.
‘To have people give you looks every day made me feel gross and uncomfortable in my own body, and when people stared I got more and more insecure.
‘Before surgery, even with normal clothing, I would get a lot of weird looks, especially from men which were really frustrating and would make me upset.
‘They also made me look bigger than I actually was and would hide my waist. I got the surgery done for my own comfort and to feel happy with my body image.’
Since the surgery, Christina is now able to exercise more freely, and has also lost 3st 5lb (22kg) in body weight.
Although she had to pay around £8,500 ($15,000 AU) for the surgery, Christina says it is the ‘best thing’ she has ever done.
She recently shared her transformation on TikTok, where one video has had more than 400,000 views and 17,000 likes.
Christina added: ‘I feel a big weight lifted off my shoulders, literally. I feel light and free and can now wear whatever I like without looking or feeling silly.
‘I think it is the best money I have ever spent and it’s such an investment in my mental and physical health.’
