Smith, who has unmedicated ADHD, explained that she used to be the type of person who ate Taco Bell three or four days a week and slept from 4 a.m. to noon
She has since turned herself into someone who gets up at six in the morning, works out at the gym, makes weekly trips to the grocery store, and has a daily routine
Smith explained that she used to be the type of person who ate Taco Bell three or four days a week and slept from 4 a.m. to noon.
‘If you asked me, “What’s your morning routine? What’s your nighttime routine?” I’d laugh in your face,”‘ she said.
‘I’d be like, “Who has a morning routine? That’s not real. No one really has a morning routine or a nighttime routine. That’s not a thing.”‘
However, she has since turned herself into someone who gets up at six in the morning, works out at the gym, makes weekly trips to the grocery store, and has a daily routine.
‘I’m winning, and I wanna share the secret, okay. ‘Cause there’s a secret. Romanticize the hell out of the boring parts of your life,’ she told the camera. ‘If you’re going to the grocery store, make it an experience.
Smith shared how she calls her weekly grocery store runs ‘Hunter Gatherer Day’ just because it sounds ‘cute.’

She also puts on a ‘really good playlist or a fantastic podcast’ to make the drive more enjoyable and gets herself a coffee as a ‘little treat’ for herself.
‘I look forward to Hunter Gatherer Day. I look forward to it because it’s an enjoyable part of my week,’ she explained.
‘And I’m not saying that you’ll never need discipline or you’ll never need motivation, but romanticize everything. That is the secret.
‘Like put on a cute workout outfit, go to the gym. Romanticize it. Take a workout mirror selfie. Romanticize it.
‘Be the annoying person that posts your grocery hauls and posts your workout videos. Romanticize your chores. Romanticize your self-care.’
Smith even romanticizes validating a parking ticket by reminding herself that she is now a ‘city girl’ after living in the suburbs her entire life.
