Woman wolfs down a whopping 32 burgers in TEN MINUTES in Washington Fourth of July eating contest

Contestants faced off in a Washington, D.C. eating contest on Wednesday — to see who could gobble the most burgers in 10 minutes.

The winner, Molly Schuyler, of California, ate a whopping 32 burgers in 10 minutes and took home the grand prize of $1,500 for the fifth year in a row.

Schuyler, a ‘dainty’ mother of four, is ‘taking the competitive eating world by storm,’ the host told the audience.

Schuyler chowed down while standing up — a ‘little trick’ the host said she has for winning.

She stuffed the food into her mouth and washed it down with slugs of water, seemingly without chewing.

When the time was up, contestants had to ‘hold it down’ for two minutes to avoid disqualification while the judges checked their scores.

‘You gotta be hungry!,’ she told Fox 5.

As the judge’s pre-made score sheets only went up to 30, they had to scrawl hand-written ones when Schuyler exceeded this number.

‘If you are ever out there and you are eating too much on Thanksgiving or you go to the buffet and you eat too much, I’m doing the exact same thing as you, only I’m getting paid,’ Shuyler told WJLA at the time.

Competitive eaters can often stretch their stomach beyond its typical 1-liter capacity — which is five times the organ’s resting size.
