Woman dies after falling overboard a Manly Ferry before police pull her body from Sydney Harbour
A woman has died after going overboard from a ferry in Sydney Harbour.
Police were called after the women fell from the Manly Ferry at 2.20pm.
The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter helped search until a police boat found the body.
A Westpac spokesman said the woman fell from a such a height that she would have plunged deep into the water and may have suffered shock from the cold.
Police are treating the incident as self-harm.
