Women in relationships claim they become ‘UGLIER’ when they’re in their partners’ homes

Finding a loving relationship is something that many people dream of – but for a growing group of women, it seems that landing a partner is causing a host of rather unlikely issues thanks to what they are describing as the negative effects of ‘boyfriend air’.

In recent weeks, multiple women have taken to TikTok to lament the side effects of so-called ‘boyfriend air’, which they say makes them feel ‘dirtier’ and ‘uglier’ whenever they spend time in their partner’s home.

According to the ladies, ‘boyfriend air’ is like a a pollutant that impacts their skin, hair, makeup and overall hygiene within hours of arriving at their boyfriend’s home.

While it’s not a clinically proven illness, the viral hashtag #BoyfriendAir has become an epidemic, with over 18.6 million views, and thousands of frustrated girlfriends griping about their looks while staying their beau’s man cave.

The phenomenon stemmed from #SchoolAir, which saw students claiming they looked ‘gross’ after a day of classes.
