Women who lost their confidence because of balding hair hail £35-a-month protein capsules

Women who’ve long-suffered with hair loss have shared remarkable photographs of their ‘thicker than ever before’ locks after using a £35-a-month protein supplement.

One in five women in the UK over the age of 29 suffer from Female Pattern Hair Loss (FPHL) because of stress, crash dieting and over styling, according to research by Hair Gain.

The female hair loss company hopes to combat the growing problem by offering GROW, a new product made from the protein AnaGain which is derived from pea shoots.

And several British women have praised the £35-a-month capsules for the ‘amazing results’ after finding their hair feels fuller and thicker following three months of use.

Laura Woodhouse, 35, from Cambridgeshire, suffers from post-partum hair loss and has balding on either side of her forehead.

‘It really affected my confidence as with most women, my hair is my pride and joy,’ she explained. ‘For me it was one of my best features as I have very long thick hair.

‘But after I had my daughter it went thin and patchy almost overnight, in particular around my hairline.’

Having tried GROW for the last three months, Laura showcased her transformation with an incredible before and after snap.

‘I’ve started seeing an improvement after 4-6 weeks, my hair had a vitality and was noticeably thicker,’ she said.

Latoya Lovell, 32, a presenter and influencer from London, admitted that constantly styling her locks had ruined their thickness.

What is AnaGain?

AnaGain is from the organic pea shoot.

Within your follicles, the dermal papilla cells initiate new hair growth.

AnaGain, powered by the pea, works by stimulating specific molecules within these cells to kick-start hair growth.

Young pea shoots vulnerable to disease, damage, herbivores and UV rays.

So they contain nutrients to protect them from these dangers and they’re proven to do wonders for your hair.

‘I couldn’t believe how badly years of over-styling had affected my hair, it really knocked my confidence,’ she confessed.

‘When my hair started falling out I was actually more upset than I thought I would be.

‘I think it’s because I’ve always been very good at looking after my hair so I was very worried.

‘I was fearful to wash it because every time I did it was coming out at my crown and I had also ripped out a side piece of my hair. It was a state and so was I.’

She added: ‘I started looking at supplements even though I was nervous about trying them because I’d read so many negative articles about the levels of vitamins being unhealthily high.

‘But the results with Hair Gain have been amazing. I’ve now been taking it for five months and my hair is the thickest it’s ever been. I’ve started wearing braids again, but with nothing like the tension I’ve had before.

‘It’s helped my eyelashes as well and my eyebrows have thickened up. I can actually get them shaped. I stopped wearing nail extensions and my nails grow quickly and don’t break as easily.’

Elsewhere, Mrs Harrison, 49, from the Midlands, quickly discovered that her hair was falling out and thinning because of the menopause.

She said: ‘My hair began thinning more noticeably as my body went into the perimenopause and the transition accentuated my already fine hair. It made me feel awful and older than I am. I didn’t want to feel like an old person before my time.’

But now, Mrs Harrison admitted that ‘a hairdresser commented recently that my hair isn’t as wispy and fine as before,’ and that she can’t wait to further improvement in her mane.

Nicole Banks, 33, from Cheshire, lost a lost of her hair following the birth of her daughter in July 2018.

‘I was getting married and was extremely distressed about my hair,’ the mother admitted. ‘As you can imagine I wanted to look my best on my wedding day.

‘My self-confidence suffered and the bald spots meant I even struggled to put my hair up as the patches were difficult to conceal.

‘I was sure that people were looking at me and I could feel clumps of hair coming out when I was washing it in the shower.’

Sharing an impressive before and after shot of her hair after taking the protein capsules, Nicole said: ‘I noticed an improvement with Hair Gain within the first month.

‘I was honestly sceptical at first as I’ve tried so many hair products and tablets over the years so I took before pictures and I was shocked by how much my hair had grown in a month.’

Kristina Makedonska, 22, a self-employed cleaner from London, suffered temporal FPHL from stress and anxiety and had two large bald patches on the side of her head.

‘I’m only in my early 20s and it was very frightening’, she recalled.

Kristina used Hair Gain’s AnaGain product and said she was ‘so relieved’: ‘After taking Hair Gain for only three weeks I could see a difference with the thickness of my hair, and also my scalp was healthier and with less dandruff.’
