A mother who was having a tough week has been moved to tears following a random act of kindness at a supermarket.
Chris Crowe, from Victoria, was buying meat at Woolworths in preparation for her late auntie’s funeral when she was asked how her week was going.
After telling a deli staff member about the tragic events that happened over her week, she continued on with her grocery shopping on Friday.
But moments later, a kind-hearted deli worker found her in one of the aisles to gift her a bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates.

‘Today when I went to visit I mentioned my aunty as I needed to buy extra cold meat to make up some sandwiches for the funeral on Tuesday,’ she wrote on Facebook.
‘I also mentioned that I’d lost three family friends in the last week as well. As always, they were helpful with my shopping and generous with their sympathy.
‘I went on my merry way and about 2 aisles later one of them came up to me and handed me this bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates.
‘She said: “this is for you – we are so sorry you’re having such a s*** time. You’re one of our favourite customers and we just really wanted to give you these”.’

‘So Woolies – please make sure you celebrate that team of amazingly kind-hearted humans,’ she said.
‘Give them a bonus – or an awesome Christmas party – or some sort of reward for their kindness because they really are a terrific bunch.
‘You should be proud of them. I was so shocked and they really honestly made me smile today – after I’d finished crying at their kindness.’
