The father called out the supermarket giant on Twitter and shared a photo of the rock he claims was inside the can.
‘Can you make sure others don’t miss this and a kid chokes?’ he captioned the post.
A Woolworths spokesperson apologised to the father for the incident and offered him a full refund.
‘At Woolworths, we take food safety very seriously and are disappointed to receive the customer’s report,’ they said.
‘We have contacted the customer to apologise and will offer a refund. We will also follow the matter up with our supplier.
‘We’re unaware of any other reports of this nature at this time.’
