World Cup 2018 LIVE: Wild scenes on the streets of Russia after win

Excitement surrounding the World Cup is starting to build as the competition heads into the second round of group games in Russia.

All 32 nations have now played their first round of games and the group tables are starting to shape up, with mixed emotions for the countries all trying to win the competition.

Thousands of Russians took to the streets last night after the host nation virtually secured their place in the knock-out rounds with a win over Egypt.

Fans were seen diving into fountains in Moscow and dancing in the streets deep into the night after their team beat Mo Salah’s Egypt 3-1.

Portugal play Morocco in today’s 1pm BST kickoff in Group B, with Uruguay versus Saudi Arabia at 4pm BST in Group A’s fixture. Tonight’s 7pm BST kickoff is in Group B between Iran and Spain..
