World Cup winners Jonny Wilkinson and Lawrence Dallaglio are among ITV’s star-studded cast of presenters, analysts, and commentators for the Rugby World Cup, it has been announced.

Mail Sport columnist Sir Clive Woodward, Bryan Habana, and George Gregan also won the Webb Ellis Cup in the men’s competition, while Maggie Alphonsi and Danielle Waterman won it with England Women.

Mark Pougatch will lead the presenting team, while Jill Douglas will host coverage from France, and Hugh Woozencroft and David Flatman will also feature.

The Rugby World Cup kicks off on September 8 when France welcome New Zealand to the Stade de France, and it is there that the winner will be crowned on October 28.

ITV have rolled out a list of 37 names in total for the tenth edition of the men’s Rugby World Cup.

Mail Sport columnist Sir Clive Woodward, who coached England to the World Cup in 2003, is one of the expert analysts

Four-time Six Nations winner Rory Best will serve as an analyst, as will three-time Six Nations champion Jamie Roberts, former Wales captain Philippa Tuttiett, and two-time Six Nations winner Sam Warburton.

Record Wales try scorer Shane Williams and and 2004 Six Nations Player of the Tournament and twice winner Gordon D’Arcy stand among the co-commentators.

England start their World Cup campaign with a clash against Argentina at the Stade Velodrome in Marseille on September 9 in Pool D.

Scotland kick off against South Africa in the same ground on the next day in Pool B.

Ireland face Romania at the Stade de Bordeaux on September 9 in Pool C.

In the same pool, Wales face Fiji in Bordeaux on September 10.

Lawrence Dallaglio and Jonny Wilkinson will provide expert analysis for the tournament

Winners from 2014 Maggie Alphonsi and Danielle Waterman will also be part of the team aiming to explain games to viewers
