Would you wear this to the movies? Model slammed for her very revealing dress at Wicked premiere in Sydney: ‘You don’t need to be naked to be pretty’

An Australian model has been slammed for the very revealing dress she wore to the Wicked premiere in Sydney on Sunday.

Isabelle Mathers, 25, stole the show when she arrived in a completely sheer black gown with only bits of lace covering her private areas.

The online personality, who boasts 2million followers on Instagram, shamelessly flaunted her slim figure as she posed up a storm on the red carpet.

‘That’s really not a dress… u don’t need to be na’k’ed to be pretty [sic],’ one person commented on her Instagram posts of the event.

‘Dress code is really not that bad. I don’t say be covered all over obviously not, but bare minimum at least.’

Another added: ‘It’s lovely… but to a PG movie premiere? It’s not the Met Gala.’

‘How is that appropriate for the event or classy?’ a third added.

‘You look beautiful but this is literally just lingerie? And the big black pants feel like they don’t match with the delicate lace unfortunately,’ another user said.

Isabelle bared all in the sheer frock which featured spaghetti straps and a plunging neckline.

The material fit snug to her frame with small panels of lace covering her chest and black underwear before the dress dropped down into a mermaid hem.

The model opted for a very bronzed makeup look with a full nude lip as she let her brunette tresses fall in loose waves down her back.

It’s not the first time Isabelle has received backlash over her bold sense of style, as she recently upstaged the bride at her father’s wedding.

Many of the images she shared of her father’s nuptials in September featured the influencer wearing a form-fitting satin and lace gown.

The frock, which was made by New York designer Danielle Guizio, appeared to be white in the images, though Isabelle claimed the colour was ‘baby pink’.

Isabelle shared one clip that showed her in her wedding garb seductively sashaying backwards from the camera as her partner, model Harri Musumeci watched on.

The nuptials appeared to be a somewhat low-key and casual affair appearing to take place in what looked to be a backyard.

The bride wore a cute white and pink floral print dress that finished at the knee and a pair of bone coloured heels.

Her dad, meanwhile, took a casual approach in a pair of khaki chinos, and a short-sleeve white linen shirt that was unbuttoned at the chest.
