The female Lucha Libre wrestler Sexy Star has been accused of intentionally injuring her opponent after going off-script in a bout.
The incident occurred during a four-way championship bout at TripleMania XXV in Mexico City on Saturday, when Sexy Star persisted with a cross armbar after opponent Rosemary tapped out.
The referee called the match and then had to physically remove Sexy Star when she refused to break the hold.
Rosemary, who is said to have suffered a suspected triceps tear with bruising and discoloration around the elbow, spoke out to insist that the incident was dangerous and unscripted.

‘Let me make this perfectly clear: if you take liberties with someone’s body when they are giving it to you and trusting you to keep them safe, you are not tough. You are an a**hole. And you don’t belong in this business,’ Rosemary said in a statement on Sunday.
‘Sexy Star decided to do just that this weekend at Triplemania,’ said Rosemary, 33, who is from Canada and whose real name is Holly Letkeman.
Sexy Star, 34, is a Mexican national whose real name is Dulce Maria García Rivas.
No official sanctions have been announced for Sex Star, though the wrestler did have one booking cancelled, a November appearance at WrestleCade in North Carolina.
Messages of support for Rosemary and condemnation for Sexy Star issued from throughout the professional wrestling community.
‘No room for bullies in this business,’ tweeted WWE star Paige.

The former WWE wrestler’s husband Cody Rhodes wrote that Sexy Star would never be welcome in one of his locker rooms.
Rosemary thanked her fans and praised the crew at the match for their support and professionalism.
‘The outreach from the wrestling community has been incredible,’ she said in her statement.
‘I’m overwhelmed with how much love I feel right now from friends, fans, and people I have yet to meet in this amazing business.’
