‘If it’s physical, it’s going to be because in that moment he decides he wants it to be physical. If it’s not, it’s because in that moment he decides it’s not physical.’

Fury has history in WWE, facing Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel in 2019 during a one-month stint in the company.

He has since been in a war of words on Twitter with Scottish wrestler Drew McIntyre, who faces Roman Reigns in the main even in Wales for the undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Fury is a life-long WWE fan, and wanted to be a wrestler instead of a boxer earlier in life, according to Levesque.

‘One thing about him [Fury] is that he’s a natural born entertainer,’ said the former WWE champion, who took over control of creative after Vince McMahon’s recent retirement.

‘When he was getting ready to go to Saudi and wrestle Braun Strowman we did a bunch of media together and he kept telling me that earlier in his life he never envisioned himself as being a boxer, he envisioned himself as being a WWE superstar.’

Fury had previously expressed his desire to participate in the event, before confirming he’ll be at ringside at the Principality Stadium.

He said: ‘Tyson Fury here! I’m really excited for the first WWE premium live event in 30 years, going down at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff – [Clash] At The Castle, where Drew McIntyre challenges Roman reigns for the WWE Undisputed Heavyweight Championship.

‘I will be sat ringside, live and exclusive, to watch this great event. Check it out guys, all the best, God bless. See you all there – cannot wait! Psyched!’
