It may have been a while since he last wrestled, but fans of former WWE superstar Kevin Nash have been admiring the work he’s been putting on at the gym.

In a recent Instagram post, Nash showed off his physique with a mirror selfie.

It’s a departure from his days wrestling in the WWF and the WCW, where the jacked Nash sported long blonde locks as he made history in the ring.

But now, with Nash sporting silver hair and a beard, the ex-wrestler and current actor talked about why he’s training.

‘Slowly getting in shape to welcome my 64th trip around the sun,’ the caption on the post read.

‘Always the simple things that reignite one’s primal self to continue to always improve.

A number of Nash’s fans commented under the post with positive messages for the six-time world wrestling champion.

‘Glad you’re still pushing forward, sir! That’s incredible strength to possess,’ one fan wrote.

Another said, ‘Looking incredible big man! Keep it up! You’re an inspiration.’

Yet another wrote, ‘From an aesthetic standpoint you look even better now than during your in ring career no easy task.’

Nash has been in professional wrestling since 1990 – after spending time playing basketball at the University of Tennessee.

Those exploits too him to Europe, where his playing career ended after tearing an ACL while playing in Germany in the 1980’s.

After that incident, he enlisted in the US Army and served in a military police division in West Germany.

He returned to the United States where he worked various jobs before jumping into the wrestling scene with the WCW.

His career saw him jump back and forth between the WCW and the WWF (later the WWE) – with a brief stint in TNA. Nash won a combined six world titles and twelve tag team championships.

That includes a 358 day stint as the WWF champion – the longest such reign in the 1990’s.

Nash was most known as a member of the WCW’s ‘New World Order’ alongside Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan in the mid-1990s.

He has been inducted into the WWE Hall-of-Fame twice – once by himself in 2015, then again as a member of the NWO in 2020.
