WWE Hall-of-Famer ‘Sunny’ arrested as fugitive from justice

Former WWE pro-wrestling manager-turned-porn star Tammy ‘Sunny’ Sytch has been arrested in New Jersey on charges of fugitive from justice and contempt.

Sytch, who has a long history of run-ins with the law, was booked into the Monmouth County Jail on Tuesday after being apprehended by police in Aberdeen.

Jail records indicate that the 45-year-old wrestling Hall-of-Famer was arrested on six counts of contempt – disobedience/resistance and two counts of fugitive from justice.

The charges reportedly stem from Sytch’s failure to appear in court in two different jurisdictions, as The Sun reported.

Her bond was set at $6,000 and recent activity on her Instagram account suggests that she has bonded out.

The DailyMail.com on Friday reached out to the Aberdeen Police Department to find out why Sytch was taken into custody but the records officer was not immediately available for comment.

Sytch has been in and out of lockup and rehab since 2012.

That year, she was arrested five times in four weeks on a variety of charges, including burglary and domestic violence targeting her then-wrestler boyfriend, reported TMZ.

In 2016, Sytch pleaded guilty to criminal counts stemming from three separate DUI incidents in Pennsylvania.

She was sentenced to 97 days in prison, but a judge gave her credit for 95 days she had spent in a rehabilitation facility and two days in jail.

Less than three weeks after her sentencing, Sytch was back in court for a series of vehicular violations.

She ultimately agreed to a plea deal, which required her to pay a $1,500 fine.

In recent years, Sytch, who described herself as ‘the original WWE diva,’ made a career change, starring in an adult film and offering X-rated entertainment via Skype.

In September 2017, Sytch was jailed for violating her probation and after spending four months at the Carbon County Correctional Facility in Pennsylvania, the 45-year-old ‘cam girl’ was released on parole and sent to a rehab center.

Under the conditions of her parole, Sytch was required to perform 75 hours of community service and stay away from alcohol and drugs.

Six months later, a petition was filed to revoke her parole and a bench warrant was issued for her arrest, which could explain how the legendary WWE manager ended up in the New Jersey jail this week.

Sytch made a name for herself in the 90s as a manager of three World Tag Team Championship teams, was crowned AOL’s Most Downloaded Woman of 1996 and was a two-time recipient of a wrestling award called Slammy.

She was last under contract with WWE in 1998 but in 2011, she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

On Thursday, Sytch posted on Instagram a throwback photo from her induction ceremony, writing: ‘Life is crazy when you’re living your dreams, am I right?’
