WWE legend The Undertaker filmed standing in front of a SHARK to protect his wife and fellow wrestler Michelle McCool at the beach
WWE hero The Undertaker has taken bravery to a whole new level by standing in front of shark that had swam close to the shore to protect his wife at the beach.
The 58-year-old, real name Mark Calaway, was filmed by his wife Michelle McCool standing in a trademark all-black outfit while the shark swam close to the shore.
McCool later tweeted that it turned out to be a nurse shark, which don’t actually attack people but she said her husband didn’t know that at the time.
She wrote on Twitter: ‘I was simply enjoying a book on the beach when this “vegetation” looked a lot like a shark.
So I text hubby @undertaker, kinda digging that last picture A LOT’ (of him standing in front of the shark).

McCool shared a video of the shark swimming close up to her while she was at the beach
She continued: ‘It was real… but just a big, beautiful nurse shark. Not that my sweet @undertaker knew that when he came out.’
She also shared separate footage of the animal drifting around the shallow water before it eventually started to swim away and back out to sea.
The man himself has not responded to his wife’s tweets.
The 40-year-old McCool married the wrestler, who is 18 years younger than him, in 2010 and they have a child together.
He has been married three times and has a son from his first marriage and two daughters from his second.
McCool did not say where the coupe were at the time of the incident but Calaway’s bravery is especially striking given that shark attacks have been especially common at present.
There have been a surge in attacks in New York and Florida – there have been 19 shark attacks reported in the United States this year alone.
A comment on McCool’s Instagram post of the incident read: ‘I completely expected the last picture to be Mark holding the shark.’
She replied: ‘Pretty sure he wanted to!’
