X Factor’s Tracey Leanne Jefford suffers wardrobe slip

She’s wowed the crowds for the past few rounds of The X Factor with her Amy Winehouse-esque vocals.

And Tracey Leanne Jefford, 36, was turning heads again on Friday as she made an appearance at ITV ahead of this weekend’s Judges’ Houses round of the competition.

Slipping her frame into a nude figure hugging bodycon dress, Tracey Leanne’s outfit left little to the imagination – and seemed to show off her underwear beneath.

The form-fitting outfit was teamed with silver heels and featured a plunging square neckline and buttoned up long sleeves.

She accessorised with what is becoming her trademark giant hooped earrings and a silver necklace.

Wearing her dark tresses up in a bun, the singing hopeful sauntered into the studios, beaming, to record a segment for ITV’s This Morning.

As she did, it was impossible not to notice the X Factor contestant’s underwear, showed off thanks to the light material.

Despite this slight faux-pas, Tracey Leanne revealed to the judges earlier in the series that she had lost five and a half stone in weight since appearing on the show previously in 2006.

At the time, she was placed in the group category, but didn’t get any further.

Her return sees her in the Overs team, headed by Nicole Scherzinger, having wowed the judges with her rendition of The Shirelles’ Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.

While it’s unknown whether or not she’ll make it through to next week’s live shows, the singer won the judges over earlier in the season when she admitted: ‘I was a different person [when she was on the show in 2006]. I never had no confidence.”

It was touch and go for the single mum, when she faced critique from Simon Cowell during the Six Chair Challenge.

She performed Grace’s You Don’t Own Me – which Simon branded ‘the worst audition’.

She was given the opportunity to sing it again, a-Capella, before being asked to sing another song altogether.

This one won her a seat from Nicole (she sang Misty Blue by Etta James) and John Lilygreen was given the boot.

The X Factor airs on ITV on Saturday and Sunday night.
