Yasmin Le Bon and daughter Amber look like sisters at LFW

She recently said she’s embracing the ‘inevitable’ ageing process.

But Yasmin Le Bon looked so youthful she could have passed for Amber Le Bon’s sister on Sunday, when the mother and daughter cosied up at London Fashion Week’s Preen by Thornton Bregazzi show.

The former supermodel, 52, and her fellow model eldest daughter, 28, wore stunning outfits which had complementing colour schemes.

Yasmin, who is married to Duran Duran singer Simon Le Bon, displayed her fun-loving side in a midi skirt with a vibrant banana pattern as she looped an arm around Amber on the third day of the bi-annual event.

The mother of three added more vibrancy to the outfit with a chic leopard print shoulder bag and a chunky bejewelled bangle.

She wore her blonde tresses gathered at the nape of her neck, allowing two golden strands free to shape her face.

Yasmin proved she’s lost none of her magic earlier this month when she posed in a stunning new photo shoot forThe Modist.

Simultaneously showing off her new blonde looks in a stunning shoot, she said she ‘feels sorry’ for models nowadays, explaining that the ‘job is harder’.

The fashion icon also said she is embracing the ageing process, and called for a ‘healthier’ outlook when it comes to ‘what is inevitably going to happen’.

Speaking to the retailer’s magazine, The MOD, about the modelling world today, Yasmin said: ‘Today the job is harder, models are being asked to be so much – people want to know much more about you and be able to run a social media empire.

‘I feel sorry for them. To me, it seems a degree unfair.’

Yasmin also talked about living well and mindfulness. Discussing her attitude towards ageing, she said: ‘I do nothing I should do and everything I shouldn’t!

‘We need to have a healthier association of what “anti-ageing” means, and what is inevitably going to happen – enjoy it, embrace it.’

Yasmin also spoke about Amber – who has followed her into the modelling world – explaining how she has never had to give her advice about the industry.

Discussing the shoot, creative director Sally Matthews said: ‘Yasmin Le Bon felt like a perfect fit for The MOD magazine and The Modist – we are dedicated to championing diversity and celebrating women of all ages, sizes, cultures and faiths.

‘Yasmin is an icon for any era, known not only for her natural beauty but also for her wit and intelligence and longevity in an industry that typically champions youth.

‘She works cool modesty with effortless ease wearing stylish separates with a rock and roll edge from The Modist.’
