‘Get plenty of wiggly rest. Us and the rest of the toddlers of Australia love you,’ gushed one fan.

‘Take care Emma! Glad your surgery went well. There is no doubt that you’ve a village of people around to help you and give you all their love,’ added another well-wisher.

Endometriosis occurs when tissue forms outside the uterus, causing painful and irregular periods.

Emma appeared on the Today show on Friday and revealed she regretted not seeking help sooner for her painful periods.

‘I think I have almost left it too long and I’ve realised that lots of people don’t even think about going to see anybody earlier,’ she told co-host Georgie Gardner.

Emma emotionally explained the diagnosis had left her husband, Purple Wiggle Lachlan Gillespie, and the rest of the team concerned.

‘We are all a big family and everyone is here to support me and the rest of the group, and I am really thankful for that,’ she described.
