Yinrun Huang announced she was engaged on Tuesday and shared with her TikTok followers the emotional moment her partner Luke dropped down to one knee. 

The former Big Brother contestant, 26, who took to her TikTok page to post the sweet video, revealed in the caption that her partner had ‘secretly learned Chinese to propose’. 

The proposal video originally kicked off with the couple learning a dance for a TikTok video.

However, Yinrun’s partner quickly interrupted their dance routine to propose in Chinese, with his other half translating the sweet words into captions. 

Her partner said: ‘I wanted to give you a special message and I wanted to do so in your native language. Sorry in advance if my pronunciation is bad.’

Yinrun can be seen holding back tears as her partner shook with nerves while he slipped his hand into his pocket revealing her engagement ring. 

Followers then excitedly flocked to the comment section of the star’s post to congratulate the couple. 

One follower commented: ‘This is the sweetest proposal I’ve ever seen. I’m crying! Congratulations, you two are lovely together’; ‘I have the biggest smile on my face right now congratulations x’; ‘i actually cried this is so adorable.’

The Shanghai-born reality star starred in the 2023 season of Big Brother and finished the programme in fourth place before competing in the 1% club.

Yinrun also appeared to hint that tying the knot could be in the future for the pair as she had the song 'Married Life' by Gina Luciani playing in the background

However, earlier this year, she gave a rare insight into their life as a couple as they opened up about the realities of being in an interracial relationship.

Yinrun’s fiancé also made a brief appearance in the Big Brother house when the housemates were visited by their family and friends.

However, in a cruel twist, they were all kept in a plastic box and were not allowed to speak to their loved ones, only listening to what they had to say.

The couple had reportedly been together for more than a year when she made her entrance into the Big Brother house in October last year.
