After days of drizzle, glamorous women made the most of the summer sunshine in flirty frocks and skimpy playsuits as they arrived at York Racecourse for another day of festivities.
Glamorous race-goers turned heads with plunging necklines, statement backs and thigh-high slits as they made their way into the ground for the third day of the Ebor Festival on Friday.
Gaggles of well-heeled friends chatted and giggled as they strolled inside, with many of them donning stylish shades to shield their eyes from the sun.
A number of fashion-forward fillies took a risk when it came to their hats and head wear, showcasing elaborate designs featuring bright colours and explosions of feathers.

Green proved a popular colour for many revellers as they stepped out in shades from lime to forest. Others opted for vibrant pinks – with one particularly daring race-goer donning a flamboyant pink hat to match.
The dry conditions meant that there was plenty of time for pictures and groups of friends were spotted beaming as they posed for photographers waiting inside the gates.
Others were seen soaking up the rays as they sipped glasses of chilled bubbly on outdoor tables.
While female racegoers drew the most attention inside the enclosure, a contingent of suited and booted men made sure they weren’t outshone completely.

The racecourse was the picture of summer fun today as festivities got underway and the revellers kick started their Bank Holiday weekend.
But yesterday it was a very different story at Ladies Day as women sheltered under colourful umbrellas and makeshift rain macs as they found themselves caught in a downpour as the event got underway.
Luckily for the gaggle of glamorous ladies, who donned vibrant headgear and a melange of bold summer frocks, the weather brightened up into the afternoon, allowing the ladies to kick back and relax in style.

The weather wasn’t much better when glamorous racegoers arrived at York Races on Wednesday.
Bravely flaunting their bare legs in an array of skimpy dresses, women could be seen giggling under umbrellas as they arrived at at the equestrian event in their finery.
Luckily the rain eased off in time for a royal arrival as fittingly, the Duke of York, Prince Andrew arrived at the races.
The Queen’s son was suited and booted in anticipation of the day ahead, arriving in a charcoal grey two piece suit and a sky blue tie.
The four-day meet will culminate on Saturday with the Betfred Ebor Day which features the Betfred Ebor. The distinguished race is the most famous of the events and has been held since 1840, making it also the oldest race.
