He’s known for beckoning fans to join him on stage during his legendary performances.
But it all went a bit wrong when Sir Elton John did this on Thursday evening during his show in Las Vegas.
Some particularly handsy members of the audience crowded around the singer, 70, and his piano, as he attempted to belt out his hit Saturday Night’a Alright For Fighting – known to be a bouncy crowd pleaser.
‘You f**ked it up!’ Elton John SCREAMS at fans and STORMS OFF stage for getting too close to him… despite INVITING them to join him at the piano
But the men in question seemed to get a little too close to the musician, who was seen trying to play the keys, sing the lyrics and yell at them to keep away from him.
As he sang the famous tune, he mouthed at one fan to ‘f**k off’ in between the lyrics, luckily not being picked up on his mic.
The men persisted in trying to reach over and touch their idol, but Sir Elton wasn’t having any of it.
This ended in him completing the track and immediately spinning in his chair to storm off stage in a huff, leaving the congregation of fans to awkwardly amble back down into the crowd.
He re-emerged shortly after a cool down backstage, but told fans that they had to stay off the stage.
‘No more coming on stage during Saturday Night. You f**ked it up!’ he said before bursting into a rendition of Lion King smash hit Circle Of Life.
This suggests the incident has caused Sir Elton to re-think inviting fans on-stage for the song going forward.
