A young girl has become an online star after she called a correspondent for the conspiracy-filled Infowars website a ‘f**king idiot’ when he wielded a microphone in her face.
Owen Shroyer, a host for the site run by far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, approached the girl at a pro-immigration rally in Austin, Texas, last week, and in a video from the event, it sounds like he is asking her: ‘How are you young man?’
‘Um, you’re a f**king idiot,’ the girl responds, much to the delight of Infowars critics.
Hitting back: A video of a young girl cussing at a correspondent for the conspiracy-filled Infowars website has gone viral
Spunky: ‘You’re a f**king idiot,’ she said after he asked her: ‘How are you young man?’
Shocked? ‘Wow, who taught you that language,’ he asks, and the girl doesn’t miss a beat when she says: ‘My mother’
Although she made it quite clear she didn’t want to talk to him, Shroyer leaves the microphone in her face as he feigns shock.
‘Wow, who taught you that language,’ he asks, and the girl doesn’t miss a beat when she leans over towards the mic and says: ‘My mother.’
Shroyer tries to shame the girl for cussing him out, asking: ‘So your mother taught you that fowl language?’ But she just nods.
‘In the car,’ she says before giving the camera the middle finger and walking away.
Trying to incite a child: ‘So your mother taught you that fowl language?’ Shroyer asks, and the girl responds: ‘In the car’
Holding her own: The girl flips off the camera before storming away
Winner of the Infowars? ‘Oh wow. Oh my gosh,’ Shroyer says as the girl struts off
‘Oh wow. Oh my gosh,’ he responds.
The footage was part of a longer video in which he ‘invades’ an anti-Trump rally and incites protesters.
Twitter user Wild Geerters tweeted the viral clip on Wednesday, writing: ‘Kids telling Infowars they’re f**king idiots is my favorite kind of content.’
The clip has been retweeted nearly 50,000 times and has scored more than 135,000 likes.

Liking it: John Iadarola said this should become the go-to response to Infowars ‘reporters’
Fighting back: J. Dice said the girl’s reaction was ‘absolutely’ appropriate
‘Can we make this the standard response to Infowars “reporters?”‘ John Iadarola tweeted, while J. Dice said the girl’s reaction was ‘absolutely’ appropriate.
After Raw Story reported that he was ‘brutally mocked by young girl’, Shroyer took to Twitter to claim that he had called the girl ‘young ma’am’ and she was the one who approached him.
‘Thanks for the #FakeNews plug @RawStory. Not that your interested in truth, but I said mam and she walked up to me,’ he wrote.
Okay: Shroyer later took to Twitter to claim that he had called the girl ‘young ma’am’ and she was the one who approached him
Likely story: Clark S. Cox III pointed out on Twitter that he has never heard someone say ‘young ma’am’ before
Too weird: He noted that he can’t imagine anyone using the phrase ‘young ma’am’
However, Clark S. Cox III pointed out on Twitter that he has never heard someone say ‘young ma’am’ before, calling it a ‘ phrase that no human has ever seriously uttered’.
In another video for Infowars, Shroyer insisted he didn’t lose a ‘debate’ with the girl before calling her a petulant child.
‘They’re all saying — and, of course, they understand that this girl obviously didn’t defeat me in any debate — but its just the left is just literally lifting this girl up as a hero,’ he said. ‘And it’s just really sad to me.
‘And then they’re making fun of me, like, “Oh, Owen Shroyer was so shocked when he heard that.” Yeah, that’s shocking! When a young child comes up to your and curses at you like a vitriolic, petulant child that has no discipline, yeah that’s shocking.’
