A young expat has been slammed by thousands after claiming Australians are ‘boring’ at concerts.

Mila Panchev, 20, attended the Ed Sheeran concert in Brisbane on February 19 and was surprised at the number of people sitting down during the show.

‘Why is the Aussie crowd so dead? You’ll never see a person sitting at a concert in Europe. Like it’s THE Ed Sheeran singing,’ Mila wrote in a video.

The crowd of mixed ages can be seen enjoying themselves with some jumping up and down as the mega superstar performs on stage in the centre of the stadium.

However, others appear to be seated in chairs on both the ground floor and surrounding levels.

The short video, which has now been viewed more than 1.1million times, attracted hundreds of comments mocking Mila’s statement.

‘Ed Sheeran’s good. But he doesn’t have those real hype songs like AC/DC,’ one person wrote.

Another agreed and claimed the crowd isn’t ‘dead’, they were just ‘attending an Ed Sheeran concert’.

A third added added: ‘The one I went to the other night everyone on the floor was standing up.’

Some added how the crowd is mostly filled with ‘Gen X’ people, who would want to sit down to enjoy the live show.

But some agreed with Mila and one woman wrote: ‘Omg I thought the same thing, I was one of the only people up and dancing in my section.’

‘Respect. Not everyone can stand. As someone who takes people in wheelchairs who can’t, I appreciate everyone who stays seated!’ another wrote.

Others suggested there would be a stark contrast at the Harry Styles ‘Love on Tour’ concert, also taking place in late February.

And fans were right as Harry hasn’t disappointed during the Aussie leg of his tour.

So far he’s rocked an iconic Bunnings Warehouse straw hat at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Friday night and sung a rendition of his famous song The Horses on Saturday night.

Videos surfaced on TikTok of fans going wild during both remarkable moments.
