Same cast! The first trailer, released Thursday, revealed that the original 1984 Karate Kid, Ralph Macchio, will star in the web spin-off alongside William Zabka
The series will pick up more than three decades after Daniel LaRusso, played by Macchio, wins the All Valley Karate Tournament thanks to the help of Mr. Miyagi.
His rival, Johnny Lawrence, played by William Zabka reopens the Cobra Kai dojo—they’re old training center—in the hopes of redemption.
LaRusso who has been living a seemingly uneventful life as a car dealer in Encino, isn’t willing to go down without a fight.
