A Youtuber has taken aim at The Masked Singer in a scathing new video mocking everything from the costumes to the singers and the celebrity judges.

Jordan Shanks, who goes by the username FriendlyJordies, didn’t hold back in his hilarious new video about the singing competition.

The competition, which originated in South Korea, sees celebrities in head-to-toe costumes and masks sing for survival.

‘Just picture those Wiggle animals that dance to their songs in the background, out to the foreground of a show, mixed with Blue’s Clues and it’s aimed at adults,’ he beings by saying.

‘Go and look up old episodes of the Power Rangers, look at the bad guys they were facing…they’ve just taken those costumes out of a trashcan haven’t they?’

He also rips into the judges, particularly Lindsay Lohan and Dannii Minogue, for taking part.

He even went as far as saying the show would be so much better without them.

‘Can you think of anyone on earth who makes more vacuous comments than Dannii Minogue?’

The former model compared the show to dystopian movie The Hunger Games because of the outlandish clothing the judges wear.

Despite the bizarre concept, the show has captivated Australia.
