It’s the annual awards night where the glitz and glamour often outshines the night’s prize winners.
But this year’s Dally M red carpet coverage is set to take away some focus from players’ and WAGs’ appearances, and concentrate more on their accomplishments, presenter Yvonne Sampson revealed.
The 36-year-old will become the first woman to host rugby league’s night of nights, which will be held at The Star in Sydney on Wednesday.

Yvonne said ‘something different’ will be brought to red carpet coverage this year, which typically heavily focuses on glamour.

Yvonne is taking a relatively relaxed approach to her own outfit for the event, saying she doesn’t usually put much emphasis on her selection.
