Zendaya is the secret weapon of the world’s biggest luxury brand, LVMH as she has caused the company’s sales to soar.

The Euphoria actress, 26, is the face of Bulgari jewellery and since this spring has also been representing Louis Vuitton: specifically, their Capucines bags.

She has attended numerous Bulgari and Vuitton events, and has been bigging up the brands (both part of LVMH, run by Frenchman Bernard Arnault, the world’s second richest person) in some stylish Instagram posts to her 183 million followers.

And what an effect she’s had. LVMH reported on Wednesday that its fashion and leather goods sector — including Vuitton, boosted by Zendaya has grown by 21 per cent.

Meanwhile, LVMH has seen sales in its watches and jewellery section (which includes Bulgari) rise by 13 per cent.

Business Insider analyst Deborah Aitken praised the ‘long term uplift potential’ of the sector, which has come roaring back post-pandemic.

Boss Arnault called the figures ‘outstanding’. A large contribution was made by Tiffany, acquired by LVMH in 2021.

Zendaya, famous for her roles in The Greatest Showman, Spider-Man and Dune, as well as smash-hit TV show Euphoria, was to have opened the Venice Film Festival with the buzzy tennis drama Challengers, in which she stars with an unrecognisably sexy Josh O’Connor (who played Prince Charles in The Crown).

However, thanks to the actors’ strike the premiere has been scrapped and the film’s release put back to 2024. Her next movie Dune Part 2, is due out in November.

The actress is in a relationship with Tom Holland who she starred alongside in the Spider-Man franchise.

Tom recently gave a rare insight into the couple’s love life when he appeared on Jay Shetty’s podcast.

He said: ‘My relationship is the thing I keep most sacred. I don’t talk about it. I try my best to keep it as private as possible.

We both feel like that is the healthiest way for us to move on as a couple, so I do try to keep as removed from Hollywood as possible.’

It comes just after last week Tom gushed over his romance with Zendaya and told how he is ‘lucky’ to have her in his life.

He sweetly described their relationship as ‘worth its weight in gold’ as he spoke about how they can share their life and work experiences with each other.

Speaking on the SmartLess podcast, he gushed: ‘I’m lucky that I have someone like Zendaya in my life.’

‘It’s interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone that is in the same boat as you,’ he went on, according to Entertainment Tonight.

‘You can share your experiences and all that sort of stuff. And that’s worth its weight in gold.’
