A look at Target’s extremely chic new homewares line

With spring on the horizon it’s getting to that point in the year where Australians are looking to update and refresh their interiors.

And although Kmart is usually the one-stop shop for budget home decor, Target has upped the stakes just in time with the release of their latest homewares range – and customers are loving it.

A group of women attended the preview day and uploaded photos of some of the wares – which included a range of bed coverings ($19-$25) and comforters ($30-$39), cushions ($20), a sunflower decorative mirror ($29) and a wicker chair ($49).

This room fashioned by Target’s latest range features a $25 decorative ladder, $8 soap dispenser, $12 bath towel and $5 hand wash

Tina from TrashtoTreasured said that texture is a huge aspect of the range, with the cushions featuring a sublime rug-like flair and a charcoal coloured ottoman made in unique velvet material.

Faux plants, lilac table settings and scented candles offer additional home comforts to spice up an otherwise plain room in your house – like the bedroom or living quarters.

‘There’s a real country and back to nature feel about this range,’ Tina explained on Instagram.

For example, a twelve piece dinner set in a khaki shade for $29 wouldn’t be amiss in your average home in Byron Bay by the sea.

She particularly liked the ‘sturdy’ feel of the $29 clothes rack on offer, which would hold a number of jackets, coats and t-shirts to transition from winter to spring.

Ingeniously, Target actually consulted Bunnings when piecing together their pot plants and made sure all the average sizes marry together.

‘I shall hunt, hunt & hunt these babies down till my feet hurt! I need it all…,’ Budgethomeliving wrote on her Instagram page.

‘I’m disgusted with myself and how much I “need”… it never ends hey,’ another commented underneath the photos.
