Ally Mayfair-Richards was victorious in the bloody season finale on Tuesday of American Horror Story: Cult.
After being trapped in the cult of murderous fascist Kai [Evan Peters], Ally [Sarah Paulson] orchestrated his imprisonment and later his death.
‘You were wrong. There is something more dangerous in this world than a humiliated man…a nasty woman,’ Ally told Kai, just before he was shot in the head by former reporter Beverly [Adina Porter].

The show opened in a maximum security prison in Jackson, Michigan in 2018.
Kai told female prison guard Gloria Whitmore to open her shirt.
‘Show me them biker chick titties,’ he demanded and Gloria complied.
He was then beaten in the bathroom by fellow inmates, who accused him of ‘f***ing with the natural order’ and hierarchies of prison life.
Debate stage: Kai Anderson, played by Peter Evans, interrupted Ally’s debate after escaping from prison
Point blank: Ally had a gun drawn on her by Kai who declared that ‘women can’t lead, women can’t win’
Shot dead: Kai was shot dead from behind by former reporter Beverly
Fatal fire: Beverly came to Ally’s rescue as Kai threatened to kill her
Kai was overpowered until his lackey swooped in to save him, calling him ‘Divine Ruler’ and giving him a blade.
Kai then slaughtered his ‘loose end’ who saved him calling him a ‘martyr to the cause’.
In the yard Kai was approached by 19-year-old Trevor Geary, who needed protection.

Loose end: Kai killed a follower who saved him during a bathroom prison beating to wrap up the ‘loose end’
Kai called him a ‘coward’ for killing a boy while driving a Tesla and dumping the body in a reservoir and made him say so himself.
‘I’ll do anything to join your gang,’ said Trevor.
‘It’s not a gang, it’s an army,’ said Kai, who already had 16 men behind him.
Seeking protection: Prison inmate Trevor sought protection from Kai
When asked how he’d ended up in prison Kai retorted: ‘I was sold out by a filthy, f***ing rat’.
The episode skipped back to 11 months earlier and Kai was with Ally, prepping for a rally, for which Speedwagon wasn’t present.
Kai, who was becoming increasingly unhinged, instructed his goons to murder 100 pregnant women.

‘It is imperative that both mother and child are impaled,’ he urged, as his minions practiced their dastardly moves on watermelons.
While making watermelon and feta salad with the leftovers distraught Beverly urged Ally to kill her.
‘I’m begging you,’ she cried.

‘What’s happening tomorrow night will be glorious,’ Ally told her.
Despite Ally’s offer of a ‘manwich’, Kai began to unravel in paranoia about being traced by the feds.
Ally then showed him that they’d been bugged by Speedwagon [Cameron Cowpethwaite].
Pep talk: Ally tried to calm down Kai who was becoming increasingly unhinged and paranoid
The scene cut to Ally confronting Speedwagon in his car about the wire tap.
He confessed to being enlisted as a mole, on the understanding that cops would waive drugs charges against him.
‘So you’re just working for the state police?’ Ally asked, before stabbing him in the chest.
Candid conversation: Speedwagon admitted to being a mole and Ally then stabbed him to death
Back with Kai, Ally gave him the unpleasant facts.
‘Your sister never betrayed you, it was Speedwagon, he set us up,’ she told Kai, who had strangled his sister Winter [Billie Lourd] when he’d thought she was a rat.
‘Build the world you wanted for her,’ advised Ally.
Truth teller: Kai was told by Ally that his sister Winter that he killed wasn’t the informant
So Kai pulled himself together to give a pre-killing pep talk to his cronies.
Ally ran outside to alert the FBI, who were waiting in trucks on the street.
‘Motherf***er,’ growled Kai as federal agents stormed inside.
Police raid: FBI agents raided the place while Kai was talking to his cronies about their plan
During the bloodbath Beverly was captured and Kai remained alive.
‘You b****, I’ll f***ing kill you!’ he raged at Ally.
Fast forward to Ally who was serving wine in a restaurant, when Beverly entered and demanded a table.
Immunity granted: Ally was cooperating with the FBI in exchange for immunity
‘Kai plead guilty to everything…why didn’t he turn me in?’ she asked.
‘How did you get so lucky, to come out smelling like a rose?’ Beverly asked Ally.
‘I became invaluable to the FBI, and in return I got immunity,’ she said.
Catching up: Beverly caught up with Ally at her restaurant after being released by police
‘Kai took credit for every murder except Ivy’s,’ warned Beverly.
Ally denied the killing and introduced Beverly to her ‘new girlfriend’ Erika.
The three women celebrated Oz’s birthday at Ally’s house.
Birthday party: Ally celebrated her son Oz’s birthday with a party at her house
Wish made: Oz made a birthday wish but he wouldn’t reveal what it was
Ally then received a collect call from an irate Kai, who was in prison and had discovered that Oz [Cooper Dodson] wasn’t his son.
‘Now you can see how truly over you are,’ Ally goaded him.
‘I’m building a real army of real men, we are getting out and we are coming for you,’ he screamed.
Prison call: Ally received a phone call from prison from angry Kai who discovered that Oz wasn’t his son
Not happy: Kai screamed that he was coming for Ally as she taunted him about Oz
Kai then had sex with prison guard Gloria, while watching Ally on the news.
Ally was planning to run as US Senator for Michigan.
She said her aim was to dissolve both the Democratic and Republican party and ‘take a sledgehammer to their antiquated system of oppression’.
Guard sex: The ‘Divine Ruler’ had sex with Gloria while watching Ally on the news
Senate campaign: Ally announced that she was running for a US Senate seat in Michigan
Meanwhile Kai was preparing to escape from the clink and his plan involved butchering his henchman Trevor, aka Rim Shot, and cutting off his face.
Rim Shot, who had just got exactly the same tattoos as Kai, was falsely identified as Kai.
Ally then took on Senator Jackson in a debate that Kai hijacked and was slipped a gun by Gloria.
Escape plans: Kai enlisted Trevor who got matching tattoos to impersonate him
Face off: Trevor was stabbed to death by Kai and his face was removed and body mutilated by Kai and Gloria
Walking out: Kai walked out of the prison a guard’s uniform along with Gloria
Tough stance: Ally played tough with her debate opponent
‘When I kill you they’ll see that there is no hope, women can’t lead, women can’t win,’ he yelled.
‘F*** you Kai,’ Aly replied.
Kai tried to shoot her, but his gun wasn’t loaded thanks to Gloria who had secretly converted to Ally’s side.
Surprise appearance: Kai introduced himself at the debate and the audience cowered in fear
Not loaded: The cult leader fired away at Ally but the gun slipped to him by Gloria was not loaded
Thanks to the drama, Ally won the election by a landslide with 80 percent of the women’s vote.
After tucking Oz up in bed with a creepy clown action figure, Ally headed for a meeting with ‘powerful women’.
The show ended with Ally putting on a velvet, emerald green, hooded robe, which could be from Bebe [Frances Conroy] who called herself: ‘The final carrier of Valerie Solanas’ torch’.
The scene concluded season seven of Ryan Murphy’s chilling FX anthology series.
