A five-year-old boy has been injured after being run over by a golf buggy.
The child, who was trapped underneath the vehicle for some time, was hit at about 6.30pm on Hope Island in Gold Coast, Queensland.

It is not clear who was driving or if they have been arrested.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman told the Gold Coast Bulletin that the young boy was treated in hospital for ‘minor abrasions’.
She added that he was discovered ‘under the vehicle’.
Queensland Police are aware of the incident.
