The former president of Temple University fraternity has been charged with attempted rape.
Ari Goldstein, 21, who was removed from his post at the now-suspended Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity several weeks ago, is being held on $2million bail.
There have been at least two reports of sexual assault involving the fraternity at the Philadelphia school, ABC News reports.
One involved a 19-year-old woman who told police in March she had passed out after accepting drinks from the frat, and woke up with one of their members.
‘She was given several drinks by members of the fraternity,’ Philadelphia Police Captain Mark Burgmann said last month.
‘She says she became dizzy and disoriented, and that’s the last thing she remembered until she woke up in bed with one of the members of the fraternity.’
Another report, that also involved a 19-year-old student, has been referred to the district attorney.
Police also received multiple reports of underage and excessive drinking, and possible drug use at Alpha Epsilon Pi house parties.
Temple suspended the frat last month.

A spokesperson for Alpha Epsilon Pi said the fraternity was cooperating and was ‘deeply troubled by the charges’ against its former president.
‘We believe in due process but there is clearly no place for this behavior in our organization and, if proven true, I would expect the individual to be permanently expelled from our fraternity,’ he said.
A university spokesman would not comment on Goldstein’s arrest but said the university continues ‘to be actively involved in the investigation with the Philadelphia police’.
Goldstein is due in court for a preliminary hearing on May 31.
