James Franco SNUBBED by Oscar voters after sex scandal

James Franco will not be vying for the Best Actor trophy at this year’s Academy Awards.

The actor was snubbed by Oscar voters in the wake of his recent sex scandal, despite being nominated for a Screen Actor’s Guild Awards and winning the Golden Globe for his work in The Disaster Artist.

That news came shortly after two of the five women who accused Franco of sexual misconduct sat down with Good Morning America to detail their experiences with the actor.

‘Please just apologize,’ said Sarah Tither-Kaplan.

Franco meanwhile has remained silent about the accusations, and on Monday was spotted surfing with his friends in Malibu.

Violet Paley was in the early stages of a relationship with Franco when she claims he pressured her into a sex act while they sat in his car.

‘He kind of like pushed my head down and was like saying, come on,’ said Paley.

The 24-year-old said at the time she was young and looked up to the actor, who she viewed as a mentor.

Tither-Kaplan spoke about being in Franco’s films, which she said were filled with ‘gratuitous’ and ‘exploitative’ nude scenes.

Those who did not agree to the scenes, which Tither-Kaplan said were often added at the last second, were cut from the films.

She then became emotional and started to break down in tears as she revealed how much she had dreamed of one day being in the film industry, and her fears that coming out against Franco might destroy her chance of realizing that ambition.
