Man hilariously ‘quits’ his job at Popeyes by singing Big Pun cover

Many dream of the day when they can quit that job that’s caused them strife, and it appears one Popeyes ’employee’ had had his share of working at the chicken chain.

In a hilarious video that went viral on Tuesday, Cedric Workuff serenades a Kansas City Popeyes only to inform them that he ‘quits.’

‘I don’t really want to work here no more,’ Workuff sings over the popular 90s hit ‘Still Not a Player’ by Big Pun and Fat Joe.

Workuff impresses customers in the store with his rhymes, as several rush to take their cameras out and film the spectacle.

Employees, on the other hand, seem to have a more split reaction.

As some appear to instruct Workuff and his cousin – cameraman Marco Summers – to stop the loud commotion, others can be seen dancing along to the song.

The video has well over 3million views on Twitter and almost 2million on Facebook.

In total, it has roughly 130,000 shares on the two platforms.

But in all actuality, Workuff isn’t an employee at the eatery at all and never was.

His cousin shared with KSHB that the stunt wasn’t planned the singing/rapping was actually improv.

Summers added that the point of the video was to spread positivity and to make people laugh.

‘I’ve been through most of the stories I talk about. Instead of letting them damage me, I make them something funny,’ Summers said. ‘It’s opening a door for people to laugh at situations like that.’

The duo hope to take their comedic prowess and eventually land a television show.

‘If we don’t make people smile, we failed,’ Summers said.

‘Our main missing is to bring back peace and love through laughter,’ Workuff said.
