She was back at the helm of The Sunday Project after the summer holidays on Sunday evening.
But 2019 has started in an embarrassing fashion for Lisa Wilkinson after she made a cringe-worthy comment during an interview with an Elvis Presley impersonator.
The 59-year-old was interviewing Ted Torres Martin, who has been crowned as the best Elvis impersonator in the world.

After co-host Sarah Harris asked Ted if his wife likes him dressing up as Elvis, Lisa chipped in with her own question.
‘Does she ever dress up as Lisa Marie on those special nights?’ Lisa asked the performer about his wife.

He then carefully explained: ‘Unless I want to hold her by the hand and walk her around. Lisa is Elvis’ daughter.’
