Jordan Cashmyer, who started a young mom in the reality TV show 16 and Pregnant, has died at age 26 of undisclosed causes.
Her father Dennis M. Cashmyer Jr. confirmed her death Sunday in a heartbreaking Facebook post.
‘Last night I received a call no parent ever wants,’ he wrote.
‘My oldest beloved daughter, Jordan has passed away, she was only 26 years old. Our hearts are truly broken. No parent should ever have to go through losing a child, EVER.’
He asked for privacy as the family mourns her sudden death.
Cashmyer previously struggled with alcohol and spent time in rehab.
She starred in season 5 of the MTV series in 2014.

Cashmyer’s life was troubled; she admitted herself to a rehab facility in June 2016 after she injured herself in a drunken stupor, TMZ reported at the time.
Cashmyer, then 21, stumbled and fell while intoxicated with such force that she gave herself a concussion and black eye.
An insider for the gossip site claimed that the incident made the reality star realize it was time to ‘get her life together.’
During her time on the hit show, crews documented the Baltimore, Maryland’s struggles after she became pregnant while dating Derek Taylor.
The couple became homeless during the pregnancy after Cashmyer’s’ parents kicked her out of the family home and Taylor refused to get a job, an MTV fan page reported.
