2023 TV Week Logie Awards: Stan Original Series Black Snow and RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under are nominated as streaming giant receives an impressive nine nods

Nominations for the 63rd TV Week Logie Awards were announced on Monday. 

And streaming giant Stan secured a whopping nine nominations, including Most Outstanding Drama Series or miniseries for Black Snow, and RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under for Most Outstanding Entertainment program.

Actor Alexander England was nominated for TV Week’s Silver Logie for his outstanding performance in the show.

Stan’s inspiring true story Bali 2002 received two nods, with Richard Roxburgh and his co-star Claudia Jessie up for Most Outstanding Actor and Actress.

Stan’s zany series RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 2 was nominated for two awards, including Most Outstanding Entertainment Program and Kween Kong, who was up for the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular Talent.

Bump co-creator and actress Claudia Karvan was nominated for Most Outstanding Actress for her performance in the acclaimed comedy drama.

Yerin Ha meanwhile received a nod for her outstanding performance in the streaming giant’s original series, Bad Behaviour.

The Stan Original series Revealed: Trafficked was also recognised today with a nomination for Most Outstanding Factual or Documentary Program.

As for the other nominations, Big Brother’s Sonia Kruger, Lego Masters host Hamish Blake, I’m a Celebrity star Julia Morris and The Bachelor’s Osher Günsberg are all competing for the Gold Logie category.

The category also features Leigh Sales from ABC’s 730 Report Mark Coles Smith from Mystery Road: Origin and Shaun Micallef from Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell.

Voting will open for all popular awards at 9.00am on Monday and remain open until the end of the red carpet telecast on July 30 at 7.30pm.

This year’s ceremony will take place at The Star Sydney and be hosted by comedian Sam Pang.
