Céline Dion hints at first Australian tour in ten years

Céline Dion is expected to announce her first tour of Australia in ten years thanks to several VERY suspicious clues shared to Twitter this week.

Fans have been sent into meltdown by a series of Tweets uploaded by Frontier Touring which appear to represent Céline’s best-known songs through emojis.

Beauty and the Beast, The Power Of Love and My Heart Will Go On have all been depicted using clever imagery, along with a date – February 2nd 2018.

Earlier this month, the vocal powerhouse uploaded a video to her social media earlier announcing she would tour the Asia-Pacific region from June to July. 

She has since announced dates in Tokyo, Macao, Singapore, Jakarta, Taipei, Manila and Bangkok up until July 23, leading fans to believe that Australia will be next on the agenda.

Céline is also expected to release a new English-language album this year; her first since Loved Me Back To Life in 2013.

The news comes just hours after fellow Canadian star Shania Twain has also announced she will tour Australia for the first time in almost two decades. 

The country singer will head Down Under for string of shows across the nation in November and December this year.

During her Now tour, Shania will visit Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, the Hunter Valley, Melbourne and Sydney with a mixture of indoor and outdoor venues.

It’s a well overdue return for the songstress, who hasn’t performed Down Under since 1999.

Tickets for the show will go on sale from 10am February 9 and presales kick off on February 5.
