Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella of Monaco might be just two years old, but the twins performed their royal duties just like grown-ups when they accompanied their mother, Princess Charlene, on an official visit.
Gabriella and her brother went with her to greet residents of the Hector Otto Foundation, which helps the young and the elderly, on Saturday.
Photos of the visit, released by the Palace on Tuesday, show the young siblings, both with long, curly hair, in their mother’s arms as she entered the dining room.

Mother-daughter: Charlene held her daughter Gabriella in her arms and ran her hand through her short blond hair as they completed their visit to the foundation
Jacques, who was wearing a white shirt, dark pants and fashionable Adidas Stan Smith sneakers on the occasion, seemed a little shy and opted to stay at the entrance of the dining room, Hello Monaco reported.
Gabriella, on the other hand, went inside along with her mother to hand out presents to the residents.
‘Hello! I am very pleased to be here today. Let me introduce you to Jacques and Gabriella,’ Charlene said after arriving with her two children.
She then told her daughter: ‘Come with me’, at which point the little girl, donning a flowery dress, followed her among 40 residents.

Together, Charlene and Gabriella handed out vegetables grown in the family’s estate of Roc Agel, purchased in 1957 by Prince Albert II’s parents.
In addition to the vegetables, Charlene gave each resident a photo of Jacques and Gabriella as a keepsake.
The Foundation’s director, Jerome Breton, deemed the visit ‘a great honor’ and pointed out that Charlene has visited twice in the past, though never with her children.
When time came to say goodbye, Jacques blew a kiss with his hand, while Gabriella told the attendance: ‘Bye everybody!’
