Nottingham Forest are working on a deal for Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.
As reported by The Athletic, Forest have had an opening offer of £25million including add-ons rejected for the 25-year-old.
Nketiah appeared close to joining Marseille earlier in the transfer window after agreeing personal terms but the French club couldn’t agree a fee with Arsenal.
The Gunners are demanding between £30million and £35million for Nketiah.
Crystal Palace are also interested in a possible deal but aren’t currently in talks with Arsenal.

Nketiah was an unused substitute as Arsenal started their Premier League campaign with a 2-0 win against Wolves.
With Kai Havertz often used as a striker and Gabriel Jesus at the club, Nketiah’s playing time is likely to be limited if he remains at Arsenal.
In 2022, Nketiah signed a new contract with Arsenal and was given the No 14 shirt previously worn by Thierry Henry.
Last year Nketiah made his senior England debut in a friendly against Australia.
Nketiah joined Arsenal as a youth player having previously been at Chelsea’s academy. He had a loan spell at Leeds in the first half of the 2019-20 campaign.
After making his senior debut for Arsenal in 2017, Nketiah has gone on to make 168 appearances for the club and has scored 38 goals.
