Noni Madueke scored the first hat-trick of his Premier League career as Chelsea turned on the style after half-time in a brilliant away win at Wolves on Sunday.
The two sides went into the interval level at 2-2. Chelsea had led twice, first courtesy of Nicolas Jackson and then thanks to a brilliant lobbed finish from Cole Palmer.
But Wolves hit back through Matheus Cunha and Jorgen Strand Larsen.
The first half was a fairly even contest but Chelsea then blew their hosts away following the interval.
Madueke’s three goals – all of which were set up by Palmer – arrived within 14 minutes of each other (49′, 58, and 63′).
Joao Felix then completed a superb afternoon for Chelsea by smashing home goal No 6 with 10 minutes remaining.
