A very casually dressed Russell Crowe goes for a walk in Sydney

On Thursday, Russell Crowe caught a South Sydney Rabbitohs game in Sydney with Love Child actress Sophia Forrest. 

And on Friday the 54-year-old enjoyed a stroll with a male friend in Sydney’s trendy Darlinghurst.

The Gladiator star cut a casual figure, stepping out in a black Nike hoodie and Adidas track pants.

He covered his face with a pair of dark aviator shades and completed his look with a pair of blue and yellow sneakers.

He appeared cheerful despite the cloudy and cold Sydney winter day, chatting to his male friend as the pair wandered along the sidewalk.

The night before the L.A. Confidential star enjoyed a night out with Sophia, 23, cheering his beloved NRL team to victory.

The pair were joined in the stands by a number of other Rabbitohs supporters, including former Spicks and Specks host Adam Hills.

However at one point, Russell and his female friend appeared to be left alone together and enjoyed a private conversation.

The scenes were broadcast on Channel Nine’s Thursday Night Football.

In June last year, Russell dismissed claims that he and Sophia were dating as  ‘deliberate lies’.

Woman’s Day magazine had reported that the two actors – who share a 31-year age gap – were romantically involved.

Russell tweeted: ‘Dear @WomansDayAus can you not stuff your s**t-filled pages with deliberate lies about relationships I’ve never been in? Thanks in advance.’
