Abbie Chatfield left mortified as she’s forced to pose for her driving licence photo moments after intense cosmetic treatment that left her swollen and red

Abbie Chatfield has been left with a very unflattering driving licence photo thanks to an ill-timed cosmetic treatment.

The Bachelor star, 28, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share her new licence photo, along with a video explaining why she looked so red and raw in the image.

‘So today I got skin needling done on my face and it’s pretty hectic. And after I got that done, I had to change something on my driver’s license,’ Abbie began.

Skin needling is a procedure where a dermatologist punctures the skin with small needles to stimulate collagen production.

Patients are generally left with swollen, red skin for at least 24 hours after the treatment.

‘So I went to get it changed and I was informed I had to get a new photo done, and I was like, ‘That’s fine. Whatever, who really cares?’ Look at what the f**king outcome is, ok?’ she lamented.

To make matters worse, Abbie had also been to the gym shortly before posing for the photo.

Abbie took the situation in good humour, joking that the security guards at Service NSW were probably laughing behind her back.

‘I wanted to be a relaxed girlie who didn’t care if she had her licence photo taken after gym and then skin needling with her hair in a rats nest, but I can hear security guards roasting me already,’ she wrote.

It comes after she was forced to hit back at online commenters who think she looks like a ‘hooker’.

Earlier this month, the podcaster posted a series of photos and videos to Instagram showing her stopping by an Ezy Mart on a night out.

In a very skimpy, low cut leopard print dress and black knee-high boots, the Bachelor alum pouted and posed as a friend filmed her from outside the convenience store.

Abbie then exited the store and smiled for the camera.

In the caption to this short clip, she wrote, ‘Who else dares to serve p**sy at the Ezy Mart?’

While many followers appreciated her out-on-the-town look, saying ‘it should be illegal to be this hot’ and ‘this girl is gorgeous’, many commenters were not as supportive.

‘Sorry you look trashy. I’m sure you or others will come at me for saying that, but hey we’re all allowed to have our own opinion,’ said one critic.

‘Attention seeking at its finest,’ said another.

Responding to the criticism in the comments, Abbie said, ‘How dare I walk out of a convenience store.’

After one critic asked her how much she earned ‘on the street that night?’ a supporter remarked that ‘she’s literally just being hot at the Ezy Mart’ to which Abbie replied with a ‘lmaooooo.’
