Desperate Romantics is a period drama that charts the colourful life of poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti and his raucous artist pals.

During his recent TV appearance on Graham Norton, the actor admitted he doesn’t mind being ogled by women as he told fans to ‘go for it’.
Asked if he minds being eyed up by women and is considered a sex symbol, Aiden said with confidence: ‘No I don’t, go for it.’
The Irish star also shared his secrets on how he stays trim for the parts to look sensational in his shirtless scenes.
He confessed: ‘I have to keep relatively fit just to fit into the costumes actually. That’s the secret.
‘Also, the fights are never too far away with Ross. So I’m always training for them but just at the clubs at the weekend.’
A lot of excitement is already brewing among fans who are eagerly anticipating the return of Poldark with season four.
Aidan whet his fans appetite as he teased the changes of his titular character Ross Poldark and what the hero will face.
He elaborated: ‘There are of course parts of that ego which make him work; he’s a gambler by nature, he’s on the front foot, he’s a hard worker and he takes chances.
‘But he wouldn’t be an interesting person to play and it wouldn’t be very truthful if he just made all the right decisions.’
