Aldi thermo cooker returns to Australian stores for $249

Aldi is set to bring back its beloved thermo cooker on March 12 for just $249 – despite many on the market costing more than $700.

Home cooks have raved about the upcoming budget release after a nation-wide sell-out last year and insisted it works just as well as pricier alternatives.

The appliance contains a range of settings that can emulsify, purée, mix, knead, steam and sauté ingredients.

It comes with a recipe book, measuring cup, steamer basket, bowl, lid, stirring attachment and spatula.

it can also hold up to two litres and features temperature settings with an adjustable timer to suit different roasting or baking times.

With 10 variable controls, including the popular pulse function and ice crush function you can also make drinks and cafe-quality smoothies.

One woman shared that she uses the appliance to cook her family favourite slow cooked beef stew; another said that she uses it to cook lamb ragu.  

‘Omg yes! I will be lining up at my local Aldi,’ a user wrote.
